Learning the circulatory system

 

1. Justification: Considering that circulatory system is sometimes difficult for learners, we will make a design of it in order to understand it better.

2. Materials: Plasticine, cardboard, felp pens and color papers.

3. Time scheduled: 1 session of 45’

4. Steps: Draw the person as you can see in the picture. Use plasticine to reproduce the circulatory system and coloured carboard to explain the different parts of it with titles.

How to make your own respiratory system

 

1. Justification: We will make a respiratory system in order to learn more about it

2. Materials: 3 balloons, ear sticks and craft foam

3. Time scheduled: 2 sessions of 45’

4. Steps: With ear sticks build the skeleton of the girl, as you can see in the picture. Use balloons to make the lungs and the head. Draw a happy face.

Now you have your respiratory system! Can you write the name of its parts on it?

Reviewing invertebrates in bright colors

1. Justification: Given the importance of using watercolors, we will review invertebrates using them. They are perfect for pupils to express themselves.

2. Materials: Scissors, white cardboards, water colors, paintbrush, sharp knife and water

3. Time scheduled: 2 sessions of 45’

4. Steps: Draw the outline of an invertebrate in a white cardboard. Cut it with scissors. Put water on your white cardboard. Use your favorite colors to decorate the cupboard. Put the outline over the painted cardboard when it's dry. Cut with a sharp knife the outline drawn. Stick a white cardboard under the painted cardboard.

Vertebrates box

1. Justification: Learners need to materialize everything they are learning, so a box with their favorite vertebrate animals will be a good activity for them to remember what are the characteristics of this animals.

2. Materials: Scissors, glue, a box, plasticine, cardboard, sharp knife, sand, blue paper and wooden sticks.

3. Time scheduled: 3 sessions of 45’

4. Steps: Cover your box with blue paper. Model your favorite vertebrates with plasticine. Fill the box up with sand. Put cardboard as you can see in the picture. Make plants with plasticine. Put everything inside and decorate the box. Now you have your vertebrates box!
